Battlefield Planning Grant Intern
National Park Service, Washington, DC. Activities included archival research and organization of maps and historic resources; an archaeological survey where test pits were created to determine the presence of subterranean historic resources in compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, assistance in the management of the American Battlefield Protection Program Planning Grants program including notification of grantees and the organization and running of multiple grantee training workshops in relation to the Planning Grants Program, and the creation of informational documents regarding the American Battlefield Protection Program Land Acquisition Grant Program. Also participated in multiple strategic planning meetings regarding the National Park Service centennial initiatives

during my internship with the Noble I ssisted with the organization and installation of exhibit titled "Treasures of Sailors Snug Harbor." Prior to instillation I created condtion reports of all objects to be featured, conducted minor conservation treatments, and wrote treatment reports for all objects that were conserved.

The Carter Collection, Newark, Delaware. Throughout the course of this internship I was able to work with a variety of materials such as wood, iron, and bone. Specific activities included the conservation of an African Fetish Figure and painted African mask, the stabilization of an antique Persain knife hilt, and the creation of archival storage boxes.
